Smoothie Sundays: Mango, Strawberry and Banana

Even though I am posting this on Monday, I did make this smoothie yesterday morning (scout’s honor) and it was delicious.

This past week has been quite a whirlwind, I started my new job, tried (and almost succeeded) at going to the gym every day and overall just tried to adjust to working full time again.

For this week’s smoothie, I wanted to use up the rest of the Trader Joe’s frozen mangos I had as well as a frozen banana that I had put in the freezer in the night before. On Saturday I bought these amazing strawberries from a fruit stand outside of Gilroy and I thought that it would be great mix with the mango’s and bananas. To thicken up the smoothie, I added in some Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Greek Nonfat yogurt, the mixed berry version.

After adding all of these ingredients into the blender I then poured in a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, blended this for about 45 seconds and I was all set with a delicious, creamy smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1& 1/2 cups of Trader Joe’s frozen mango chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 6 medium sized strawberries; they can either be frozen or from the fridge
  • 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Overall, super easy and tasty smoothie recipe! Try it out and enjoy!

My dog, Sophie, was very interested in this fresh, fruit stand strawberry.
